One of the three beaches (besides Siloso and Palawan) located on the southern coast of Sentosa island in Singapore.  Being the furthest away from Beach Station, Tanjong Beach has a more secluded feel and is quiet during the week.  There are some cafés, shops and toilet facilities.

The beach has a crescent shape and is a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset.  The Tanjong Beach Club, a stylish bar and restaurant, hosts regular events and pool parties that attract a large gay crowd.

Tanjong Beach is particularly popular gay sunbathers on Sundays.

How to get there

From the Singapore mainland, you can reach Sentosa via the free cable car which starts from Mount Faber and passes through HarbourFront to its final destination. You can also take the Sentosa Express monorail to Beach Station, and take the beach tram to Tanjong Beach. Last updated: 04-28-2014
