Haulover Beach, Miami’s prime nudist beach is located nine miles north of South beach. It has no facilities and it’s a long walk from the car park, but there are stands that sell beverages on the beach.

The northmost end beyond the North Lot tunnel and the lifeguard stands is the gay section. But you may want to hang around with the College guys in the center as they like to throw a loud party with music and dancing most weekends.

There is a long list of bylaws (no alcohol, no glasses, no open fires, etc) that is rigorously enforced by the patrolling Beach Ambassadors, so take care and read the signs upon entry.

How to get there

You can only reach Haulover Beach by car. Drive up the north-south Collins Avenue that runs along the Atlantic seafront, north of Haulover Inlet, following the signs to Haulover Park. There are two car parks: Lot A and Lot B. They both fill up early on Saturdays and Sundays. From the carpark, go down the tunnels under Collins Avenue to reach the beach. Once there, turn north and keep going until you reach the gay section. Last updated: 12-23-2021
