Quieter than Middle Bay but still popular with tourists and locals.  The gay section is to the left-hand side of the beach.

Like Middle Bay Beach, South Bay has no direct public transport.  Ether take a taxi or bust to Repulse Bay, then walk along South Bay Road, past Middle Bay.

How to get there

Take a bus (number 6, 6A, 6X, 260; or number 40 minibus) or a taxi from Central Hong Kong to Repulse Bay.  These transports will either take you through the Aberdeen Tunnel or along the scenic route. If you drive to Repulse Bay, there are some parking spaces nearby.  Repulse Bay Hotel also has parking facilities. From Repulse Bay, continue walking on South Bay Road, past Middle Bay Beach, to get to South Bay. Last updated: 04-28-2014
